Flushing DNS on Windows

I ran in to a problem where my DNS wasn’t updating after I made an update on Godaddy for a website.

I tried this by it’s self:

ipconfig /flushdns

I actually tried it several time without any luck. The DNS server had the right ip but my workstation did not.

Try flushing all your network buffers. I would suggest you use an elevated administrative command prompt:

arp -d *
nbtstat -R
ipconfig /flushdns

This worked for me, but who knows, it could have been timing.
